    A Hunter Education Class is being held September 24, September 26, October 1, and October 3 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. at Rigsby Elementary. A Field Day is being held October 5 beginning at 9:00 a.m. A Hunter Education certification is required for anyone born after January 1, 1969 who wishes to hunt in Tennessee. Students must be at least nine years old at the start of the class to be eligible to participate. Attendance is required on all dates in order to be certified. Online registration at tn.gov.twra is preferred, but if student has no internet access he/she may enroll at the first session.
