    Pre-K registration in Bledsoe County will be held Wednesday, April 3 at Cecil B. Rigsby Elementary; Thursday, April 4 at Mary V. Wheeler Elementary; and Friday, April 5 at Pikeville Elementary from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. each day. Children must be four years old by August 15, 2019. The following are needed to register: proof of residency (electric, gas or water bill in parent’s/guardian’s name), certified copy of birth certificate, immunization record, record of physical, Social Security card and proof of income. If documents cannot be obtained by registration dates, children can still be registered. Only Bledsoe County residents are eligible to apply. For more information, call 447-2914.B10S11

If you have civil legal problems with housing, consumer, veteran’s benefits and government benefits issues such as food stamps, unemployment benefits and TennCare, and qualify for free legal assistance, you can apply for help. The clothes closet will be open every first and third Saturday of each month until further notice. Anyone needing clothes or who knows someone who does can come by at this time.
