    If you currently receive food from the Bledsoe County Food Bank and are in a family of four persons or more, the Food Bank is making a special distribution on Wednesday, September 5. If your regular pickup date is any day in September, you are eligible. Pre-registration and vouchers are required. Stop by the Food Bank before August 29 to get details. New registrations are not eligible for pickup on this day. Please have freezer and refrigerator space available as a large amount of these items will be given out. Only one voucher per family, no pickups for others. Picture identification is required. Open from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. only, first come-first served.

    SETHRA commodity distribution on September 7

    The Southeast Tennessee Human Resource Agency (SETHRA) is distributing USDA commodities to eligible Bledsoe County residents on Friday, September 7, from noon until 4:00 p.m. at the Bledsoe County Fairgrounds in Pikeville. You must have a card in order to receive commodities on this day. Eligibility is based on total household income not in excess of the State-established maximum percentage of the poverty line for the appropriate household size or category eligibility.
