    National Day of Prayer

         The Nation joins in prayer Thursday, May 3, and Bledsoe County will be a part of it at noon in the Veterans Park (or the Farmers Market if raining). Prayer for the community, schools, local government, and the Nation are planned. Please come and add your prayers to the effort. The Bledsoe County Ministerial Association welcomes everyone in the county and city, all elected officials, emergency personnel, churches, businesses and staff for this time of prayer. B17S18

    Debbie Harwood Rains Memorial Scholarship

         The Debbie Harwood Rains Memorial Scholarship 2018 is open to any graduating senior or alumni of a Bledsoe County School who has an interest in furthering their education in the healthcare field either clinical or non-clinical. This is a $1,000 scholarship sponsored by the family of Debbie Harwood Rains and the staff of Erlanger Bledsoe and Bledsoe County Nursing Home and is awarded in increments of $500 per semester. Information can be picked up at the Erlanger Bledsoe Administration office located in the Nursing Home or from Cyndi Johnson at the Bledsoe County High School. Qualifying information must be received by Friday, May 4, 2018 and will be awarded at Class Night on Thursday, May 17.

    Paws and Claws shelter group to meet

    Everyone is invited to attend the Paws and Claws Animal Shelter May membership meeting on May 10th. The meeting will be at the Sequatchee Valley Electric Meeting Room. The meeting room is located at 97 Resource Road off of Rt 127 North in Dunlap.  Meetings are at 6:00pm. Come out and help them as they work to build an animal shelter for the Sequatchie Valley area.
