    Big country breakfast at Veterans Hall

    Members of American Legion Post 66 and VFW Post 5033 will have a big country breakfast Saturday, February 10 from 7:30 to 10:00 a.m. at the Veterans Hall in Pikeville.     Chili Cook-off at Luminary-Frostbite Fire Dept.

    On Saturday, February 10, the Luminary-Frostbite Volunteer Fire Department, located at 13002 Summer City Road in Spring City, is hosting a Chili Cook-off from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. EST. There is a $5 entry fee for the chili cookers, and $7 fee per person for all you can eat diners. Trophies are to be awarded for first and second place winners. Diners can choose the winners by scoring the cookers’ chili. Proceeds raised help support the department and community-supporting activities. Everyone is invited.BS6
