Shooting in Brockdell Community

     Scotty Cranford, 26, was shot in the hand after an altercation in the Brockdell Community of Bledsoe County on Tuesday afternoon, September 19, according to Detective Angelo Oreto of the Bledsoe County Sheriff’s Department.     Open house/back to school dance at BCMS

    Bledsoe County Middle School is holding its third annual Open House on August 15. Students have a Back-to-School Dance happening from 5:30-7:00 p.m. in the gym. The night for parents begins in the school auditorium at 6:00 p.m. with an informational meeting with Principal  Chris Cagle. Parents then have the opportunity to follow their child’s daily schedule, visiting the classrooms and meeting their child’s teachers. Door prizes are going to be given away during the night.
