Oma Lee Yeargan

Oma Lee Yeargan, 69, of Pikeville, Tennessee went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2024.

She was born September 18, 1954 in Dayton, Tennessee to Vaughn and Viola Morgan. Mrs. Yeargan was a lifelong resident of this area and was a member of Cranmore Cove Baptist Church. Oma had a great sense of humor and loved entertaining. She loved sewing, games, cookouts, and most of all, she loved her family.

Mrs. Yeargan is preceded in death by her parents, Vaughn and Viola Morgan; husband, William “Sonny” Yeargan; brothers, Arthur and Robert Morgan; and sister, Martha Louise Morgan.

Oma is survived by her four children Chris (Mandy) Yeargan, Jeff (Tracy) Yeargan, Greg (Jeannie) Yeargan, and Mark (Angie) Yeargan; her five sisters Frances Ward, Mary Hartman, Joy (Ray) Hodge, Sally (Rick) Lynch, and Alta Lehmkuhler; her brother Jimmy Ray (Carolyn) Morgan; eleven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. EST Wednesday, March 6, in the chapel of Coulter Garrison Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Reid officiating. Burial followed at Summer City Cemetery. A visitation was held Wednesday from noon until the time of the service.
