Conrad Boehm

Conrad Boehm, 72, of Pikeville, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 surrounded by his wife, Lisa, and three adult children, Michael, Donna, and Tricia.

Conrad was born on January 14, 1951, as the third child to Richard Boehm and Illene (Boehm) Wolck-Priestman in Cook County, Illinois. At the age of three, his family relocated to California, where he spent most of his life.

After high school, he married his high school sweetheart, Patricia, and had three children (named above). Conrad spent his years as a young adult pursuing his passions and enjoying life. With a young family to provide for, he found a job as a gas station fuel attendant in Los Angeles. The job introduced him to the world of cars and motorcycles, which kickstarted his career as a mechanic. Conrad quickly developed a passion for motorcycles, specifically Harley Davidson’s. Over the years he owned and worked on many Harleys and loved taking them on rides all over the state.

Conrad also enjoyed spending time with his family boating and camping. He was known for his playful spirit. He would commonly play practical jokes on the people he loved by hiding things like rubber snakes for them to find.

In 2000, Conrad decided to pursue a slower pace of life by relocating to the small scenic town of Clearlake in Northern California. He found joy in working as a driver for Hospice Services of Lake County where he met his soul-mate, Lisa, who also worked for the organization. They fell in love and got married, both enjoying their work and the beautiful surroundings of the lake.

In 2022, Conrad and Lisa relocated to the quaint town of Pikeville, Tennessee to be near his daughter, Donna. The locals warmly welcomed Conrad and he quickly fell in love with his new community. His presence will be deeply missed.

Conrad was predeceased in death by his parents, Richard Boehm and Illene Wolck-Priestman; brother; Richard Boehm; and grandson, Andrew Boehm.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Boehm; children, Michael Boehm (Jeannie), Donna Kovac, Tricia Schabbehar (Tom); grandchildren, Mikey Boehm, Brenda Boehm, Savannah Schabbehar, Tommy Schabbehar; great-grandchildren, Jax Schneider, Olivia Schneider, Casey Boehm, Macey Schneider; and siblings, Cheryl Trujillo, Lorelei Gore, Marlene Leon.

A memorial service is being planned at a later date.
