Parade, tour, reindeer, Santa and more!

Get out your calendar and mark these events to attend over the next few weeks as you celebrate the holiday season. Plans are being made for numerous events being held in downtown Pikeville by members of the Light Up Pikeville group.

This past weekend, they held a two-night Sip & Shop. Vendors were set up and merchants were open with lots of great Christmas gift and decorating ideas.

Their next event is one of the best events – the lighted Christmas parade through downtown Pikeville set for Saturday, November 25. Those with floats depicting the parade theme: Small Town Christmas Magic, will line up at Pikeville City Hall beginning at 2:30 p.m. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m. and will travel northward on Main Street.
