Farm Bureau helps fight hunger in Bledsoe County
Two local food banks were provided with funds to help fight hunger in Bledsoe County last week. Farm Bureau in Bledsoe County, through the Shooting Hunger program, was able to give $1,350 each to the Bledsoe County Community Food Bank and to the Snack Pack/Food Bank program at First Southern Baptist Church.
Tennessee Farm Bureau and Farm Credit Mid-America partnered to help feed hungry Tennesseans through regional food banks. They developed many ideas to bring agriculture and businesses together to fight hunger in their communities.
