Dorothy Warner Redmond Cagle

Dorothy Warner Redmond Cagle, 89, of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023 at home with her loving family by her side.

Warner was a member of Sequatchie Valley Church of Christ. She was a teacher for 42 years in the Bledsoe County School System, and enjoyed reading and cooking.   

Warner was preceded in death by her son, Franklin Lee Cagle; parents, Bennie Lee and Martha Elizabeth Warner Redmond; brother, Billy Lee Redmond.

Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 68 years, Billy Frank Cagle; daughter, Linda Cagle (Greg) Pickett; brother, Albert (Jennifer) Redmond; brothers-in-law, Paul (Nancy) Cagle, Harold (Glenda) Cagle; sister-in-law, Loretta Cagle; special grandchildren she loved as her own, Mark (Ethanie) Cagle, Matthew (Emily) Cagle; special great grandchildren, she loved as hers; Lillie, Franklin, Reacher, and Megan Cagle; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be 1:00pm CDT Saturday, September 30, 2023 in the Pikeville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Dennis Smith officiating.  Burial will follow in Pikeville City Cemetery.
