Helen Ozelle Agee Taylor

Helen Ozelle Agee Taylor, 97, of Pikeville, died Friday, September 1, 2023.

She attended Faith Baptist Church. She was an elementary school teacher in Pikeville for over 30 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John L. and Ada Angel Agee; and brothers, Wiley W. (Jewel) Agee, Wendal W. (June) Agee, Carl Len (Inez) Agee, and Jack (Barbra) Agee.

She is survived by her children, James T. (Jennifer) Taylor, Jr. and Pamela Taylor (Murphy) Ownbey; grandchildren, W. Taylor Ownbey, James Thomas (JT) Taylor, Eric A. Taylor and W. Murphy Ownbey, III; and great-grandchildren, Aubree K. Taylor, W. Murphy Ownbey, IV and James W. Ownbey.

Private graveside services were held Monday, September 11 at Pikeville Cemetery with Bro. Doyle Ashburn officiating. The family requests donations be made to St. Jude Hospital.
