Alice Faye Sinclair

Alice Faye Sinclair, of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away on August 13, 2023, at Rhea Medical Center, surrounded by family.

She was a member of Brayton Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, bird watching, and walking on the beach. She loved children, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a cook and was famous for her chicken and dressing and hard candy.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Joann Clark; mother, Dorothy Ferguson; father, Luther Ferguson; and husband, David Edward Summers.

  She is survived by her sons, David Eddy Summers and Steven Summers; daughters, Sherry Griffith, Maria (Dale) Buchannon and Kim (Howard) Colvard; grandchildren, Brent (Paula) Griffith, Haley, Drew, Cody and Jake Summers, Porsha (Ryan) Reed, Dilon Poland, Emily (Travis) Weidner, Drew Buchannon, Trey (Candace) Colvard and Cameron Colvard; great-grandchildren, Addie, Ella, Gage, LettyJane, Hope, Aidan. Ashton. Cooper and Carsyn; great-great-grandchildren, Silas, Samson and Slade; brother, Billy (Kathy) Ferguson; sisters, Margret (Butch) Stinnett and Jeanette Newton; best friend, Beulah (Bobby) Hudson; and many nieces and nephews

Services were held Friday, August 18, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel with Rev. Dennis McCard officiating. Burial was at Brayton Cemetery.
