Clara Jo Marsh

Clara Jo Marsh, 84, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Sunday, June 25, 2023.

She was a member of Red Hill Church of Christ. She retired from Citizen’s Tri-County Bank. She served as the treasurer of the Bledsoe County High School Alumni Association. She enjoyed knitting, gardening and canning. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and going on gator rides with Jack.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Marsh; parents, Ott and Nellie Ruth Turner; grandson, Cameron Slate Marsh; sister, Bernice Lyman; sister-in-law, Joann Turner; and brother-in-laws, Marshall Fields and Bill Marsh.

She is survived by her children, Mitch (Jackie) Marsh of Pikeville, and Darlene (Lee) Gribble of Maryville; grandchildren, Chelsea (Wes) Miller, Lucas (Loren) Marsh, Taylor (Andrew Branum) Marsh, Ashley (Daniel) Shankle and Garrett Gribble (Jess McKinney); great-grandchildren, Lane and Barrett Miller, Jack Marsh and Kaelyn Shankle; brothers, Randall Turner of Pikeville, and John (Loretta) Turner of Decatur; brother-in-law, Ed Lyman of Staunton, Virginia; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Steve Brown and Mitch Marsh officiating. Burial will be in Worthington Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 28, from 3:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. and Thursday, June 29, from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
