John Preston Girdley, 49, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Tuesday, May 23, 2023.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry Girdley and Cora T. Girdley; aunt, Wanda Putman; and uncle, Lynn Jenkins.
He is survived by his mother, Jayne Clawson of Graysville; brother, Thomas van Biezen of Graysville; wife, Lynn Girdley of Pikeville; step-son, Corey Turnure of Pikeville; niece, Arabella van Biezen of Graysville; cousins, Doris Sandusky, Jasmine Fox and Wanda Sandusky; and several more nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
