Character plants Lawson at Bryan

Makade Lawson’s overall character caught the attention of Bryan College’s soccer coach who offered him both an athletic scholarship and academic scholarship to the college. He will join the Lions soccer team and one of his former teammates for the fall 2023 season.

Bryan’s head soccer coach, Jeremy Davidson, said he got to see Makade play recently and was very impressed by him.

“Character of a player is most important,” said Coach Davidson. “I was impressed with him as a person. Character on and off the field is bigger than the sport.”
