Counterfeit fentanyl pill seized
Members of the 12th Judicial Drug Task Force (DTF) seized over 1,000 counterfeit fentanyl pills during an investigation in Bledsoe County on April 20. According to the DTF, the pills were disguised to look like prescription oxycodone pills, but were manufactured illegally in a clandestine lab with the active ingredient being fentanyl.
Two people were arrested at the scene, but their names and location of the seizure are being withheld at this time since this is an ongoing investigation. See more about the seizure in the Thursday, May 4 issue of The Bledsonian-Banner.
