Shining the light on children’s mental health

Bledsoe AWAREness Walk set for May 6

The mental health of children in Pikeville and Bledsoe County is being brought to the forefront as local officials have proclaimed May 6 as National Children’s Mental Health Awareness Day. Pikeville Mayor Philip Cagle and Bledsoe County Mayor Gregg Ridley each signed a proclamation declaring the day to address the complex mental needs of children, youth, young adults, and families in their communities today.
