Joyce Lynn Hathaway Thompson

Joyce Lynn Hathaway Thompson, 84 of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2023, at home with her loving family by her side.

Joyce was a homemaker and a proud Navy wife, loving caregiver; enjoyed spending time with her family and having family get-togethers, reading, cooking, traveling, watching games shows, and karaoke.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Thompson; parents, Benjamin Thomas and Blanche Mailhotte Hathaway; brothers, Don and Robert Hathaway.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Scott Thompson, Nick Thompson;  daughter, Susan Hathaway; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren; brother, Gene Hathaway; sister, Judy (Gerald) Nugent; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. CST Wednesday, March 8, at Beach Cemetery with Bro. Steve Haston officiating.  The family will receive friends 5:00pm- 8:00pm Tuesday, March 7, at Pikeville Funeral Home.
