Vic will really be missed. He was a class act and a hard worker. Vic was always dependable. I got to know Vic over the last seven years working with him at the Postal Service at the Knoxville P&DC. He always had time to assist us at the OIG, with every technical issue and maintenance issue we faced. I really got to know what kind of person he was and his character while working an investigation regarding an internal NAPS theft case. His assistance and perseverance was key into obtaining prosecution. Vic was a leader, a doer, would resolve any problem and a became a friend. Our small Knoxville law enforcement community consisting of a handful of Postal Inspectors and OIG Agents will truly miss you Vic. We wish the Esvang family peace and comfort during this difficult time. We are truly sorry for your loss. -KJ

Vic was the “go-to” man at work due to his vast job knowledge. He was always available if you could not resolve an issue by yourself. He was responsible for so very many improvements at our facility.

I just learned from Vic in December that we were native sons of the same state.

I particularly loved his sense of humor! We were always making one another laugh.

I wish to express to the family that Vic was as dear to us as to you.

May the peace of God sustain you during this time.

Vic was my boss in Daytona Beach. Great man, great boss, and funny too! Can’t believe he has passed. Can’t believe it took so long to find out.

I would like his family to know I am very sorry for their loss!
