John Henry Gebala

John Henry Gebala, 64 of the Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Friday, December 16, 2022 at his home.

John was born on May 14, 1958 to Bob and Daniela Gebala in Irvington, New Jersey. In the early 1970’s, he joined the United States Marine Corps, and served his country for six years. He then went on to become a New Jersey State Law Enforcement Officer and also a personal bodyguard. Later, he moved to South Jersey, where he opened his own construction/landscaping company. John retired in 2015 and moved to a log cabin on a mountain in Tennessee like he always wanted.

John is predeceased by his parents, Bob and Daniela Gebala.

John is survived by his daughter, Danielle Gebala, her fiancé Rogers, his two grandchildren, Jace and Zella, along with many other family and friends.

A celebration of Life with military honors will be 1:00 p.m. CST Tuesday, December 27, in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow 10:00 a.m. CST Wednesday, December 28, in the Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. CST Tuesday at the funeral home.
