HOUR OF CODE: experience what students are learning

Computers and software are changing everything…from the way students learn to the way they will work in the future.

To achieve and advance their abilities, Bledsoe County students, from kindergarten to 12th grade are learning about coding, said Deanna Oxner, BCMS computer science teacher. Its the school district’s mission to introduce computer science to all students. To give parents a better understanding of what their children are learning, a special “Hour of Code” event is being held Thursday, December 8 in the cafetoriam at Bledsoe County Middle School from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
