Annette Hitchcox Morris

Annette Hitchcox Morris, 76, of Spencer, Tennessee, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 28, 2022.

She was a member of Brockdell Church of God.  She was a retired factory worker in Spencer.  She enjoyed singing and working crossword puzzle.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Ray Morris; parents, Parker and Ida Pearl Hitchcox; two brothers, Dennis and Cleveland Hitchcox; two sisters, Charoletta “Ottie” Rogers and Linda Sue Walker; and great-nephew, Joshua Hitchcox.

She is survived by her sister, Vivian Webb of Pikeville; brothers-in-law, Melvin Walker and L.B. Rogers; several nieces and nephews; special friend, Shirley Dykes; two sisters-in-law, Brenda Hitchcox and Margie Hitchcox; and many other friends

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 1, at 1:00 p.m. at Brockdell Church of God with Rev. David Rogers and Rev. Jimmy Walker officiating. Burial will be in Hitchcox Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 31, from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. and Thursday, September  1, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m., all at Brockdell Church of God.
