Jurors indict accused rapists during session
Two individuals were indicted in unrelated rape cases by the Bledsoe County Grand Jury last week. In addition to these two cases, grand jurors found enough evidence to indict 28 other cases presented.
An indictment was returned against Braydon Koltt Pendergrass of Pikeville for statutory rape of a girl between the ages of 13 and 15, according to court records. The alleged incident occurred on October 9, 2021.
James L. Coleman, 30, was indicted for two counts of rape and extortion. He is accused of having sexual contact with a woman while displaying a handgun on December 5, 2021.
There were several individuals indicted for assault-related cases.
