Nathan DeWayne Howard

Nathan DeWayne Howard, 42, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Thursday, February 24, 2022.

He was of the Church of God faith. He loved outdoors and all children.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Violet and Bud Howard, L. C. Dykes and Oliver Cordell; daddy, Dewayne Cordell; and grandson, Tavner Zane Cagle.

He is survived by his wife of 14 years, Serina Howard; sons, Zack (Hayley) Cagle and Alex (Maria) Cagle; grandsons, River Cagle and Easton Meeks; mother, Gracie Cordell; father, Ritchie (Sandra) Dykes; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Hoss Prater and Carolyn Young; brothers, Joseph (Andrea) Cordell, Kyle Dykes, Dylan Sullivan, Brandon Sullivan and Michael (Lacey) Clendenen; grandparents, Shirley Dykes and Edna Cordell; special aunt, Crazy Barb; special children, Ciara, Storm, Briarr and Rexx Martin, Zoey Prater, Harley Parsons, Kissimmee Cagle, Carson, Branson and Emma Cordell; best friends, Jeff Troglin and Derek Stewart; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.

Services were held Tuesday, March 1, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel Bro. Jonathan Hankins. Burial was in Hitchcox Cemetery.
