Linda Gifford

Linda Gifford, 62, of Pikeville, Tennessee passed away Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Erlanger Medical Center.

She was of the Baptist faith and a big Tennessee and Atlanta Braves sports fan. Linda babysat for more than 15 years loving and caring for other children as well as her own. She also worked at Save-A-Lot and Stephens Pharmacy where she made a host of friends.

Linda loved taking photos of everyone, and being Nana to her grandkids. She loved Christmas which was year around. Linda loved to shop, collect snow globes, CD’s, and watch Reality TV.

Preceding Linda in death was her mother, Lela Omega Mitchell Troglin; father, J C Troglin; step-mom, Reva Troglin; grandson, Berry Owens, II.

Survivors include her loving and devoted husband of 44 years, Don (Bo) Gifford; children, Kara Upchurch, Matt (Heather) Gifford; adored grandchildren, Cale and Scout Upchurch; sister, Sherry (Cisco) Thompson; brother, Terry Worthington, all of Pikeville; sister, Kathy (Arvil Lee) Pursley, Signal Mountain; several nieces and nephews, many beloved cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 26, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Bradley Hargis officiating. Burial was in Pikeville City Cemetery.
