Two COVID-related deaths among BCCX inmates in past week

The number of deaths among inmates at Bledsoe County Correctional Complex (BCCX) attributed to COVID-19 has grown by two over the past week, according to Tennessee Department of Correction Spokesman Robert Reburn.

Reburn confirmed Thursday, September 16, that the total number of inmates with COVID-related deaths since the beginning of the pandemic is now up to three. The latest two deaths have not yet been added to the county total by the Tennessee Department of Health.
