Lee Gore

Lee Gore, 81, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at home with his family by his side.

He worked at La-Z-Boy in Dayton for 30 years until his retirement. He loved farming and his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and all children.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nellie Mae Cooley Gore; and brothers, James, Ray, Elbert and Clarence Gore.

Lee will be dearly missed by his wife of 60 years, Treva Watson Gore; daughter, Vicky (Wade) Thompson; son, Jeff (Mammie) Gore, all of Pikeville; and the grandchildren he loved so much, James Thompson, Kayla Thompson and Chelsea Gore; great-granddaughter, Debra Thompson; step-grandchildren, Valerie Davis and Shae Davis; sister, Martha Jones; brother, Robert (Toy) Gore; several sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services was held Wednesday, September 8, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Elmer Blaylock officiating. Burial was in Watson’s Chapel Cemetery.
