William “Boots” Capps
William “Boots” Capps, 87, of Graysville, Tennessee died Monday, June 7, 2021.
He was a member of Brayton Baptist Church. He was a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean conflict. He also loved to fish.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Valerie Capps; and sister, Mildred Blackwell.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Jewell Capps of Graysville; children, Peanut (Debbie) Capps of Graysville, Steve Capps, stepsons, Ronnie Sullivan of Dayton, and Barry Sullivan of Graysville; step-daughter, Brenda (Jay) Goins of Dayton; grandchildren, Melissa Capps, Keith Capps, Stevie Capps, Christopher Capps, Lynn Byrd, Justin Goins and Cindy Sullivan; great-grandchildren, MaKayla Campbell, MaKenle Campbell, Zoey Capps, Avah Capps, Kara Capps, Hunter Byrd, Hannah Byrd and Cassidy Newby; and one niece.
Funeral services were held Thursday, June 10, at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Leroy Smith officiating. Burial was in Hickory Grove Cemetery.
