James A. Evans

James A. Evans, 51, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Saturday, May 15, 2021.

He enjoyed spending time with his family, enjoyed fishing, and loved to thrift shop. He lived for his work.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jimmy and Floann Evans; sisters, Pam Evans and Leisa Evans Brown; brother, Frankie Evans; and nephew, Austin Evans.

He is survived by his daughter, Brittany (Andrew) Burgess of Pikeville, step-children, Michael Lawson of Red Bank, and Ashley Lawson of Hixson; grandchildren, Leam, Devin and Fayleigh Burgess, and Braelynn Morris and Ryder Lawson; sisters, Jennifer Murphy of Pikeville and Ann Pugh of Dayton; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will be holding a private memorial service at a later date.
