John Willard “Big John” Stewart
John Willard “Big John” Stewart, 45, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Tuesday, March 9, 2021at home with family by his side.
John was a 1993 graduate of Bledsoe County High. He attended Ebenezer Baptist Church, was the tractor operator for Stewart Landscaping for over 20 years, and was a big supporter of all Bledsoe County High School sports, especially basketball. John loved farming, spending time with his family and friends, and was an avid Bills fan, and as always “Go Duke Blue Devils.”
Preceding John in death were his mother, Barbara Curtis Stewart; and step-mom, Linda Stewart.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of six-and-a-half years, Angie Colvard Stewart; daughters, Amelia Graham (Blake Rogers), and Olivia Danielle (P.J. Johnson); father, Willard Walter Stewart; sister, Andrea (Michael) Blankenship; special fur babies, Josie, Mollie, and Maggie; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
A celebration of life was held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 11, at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Bro. Eugene Kilgore officiating. Burial was in Brayton Cemetery.
Those serving as pallbearers will be Michael Blankenship, Michael Colvard, Matt Colvard, Carlos Davis, Brian Stewart, and Anthony Angel. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to Pikeville Funeral Home to help with final expenses.
