Sapp named Assistant DA

Pikeville native Cara Rains Sapp joins the 12th Judicial District Attorney General office as an Assistant District Attorney, announced District Attorney Mike Taylor. Taylor appointed Sapp to the position on January 1.

“I am pleased to announce that I have appointed Cara Rains Sapp to the position of Assistant District Attorney General for the 12th Judicial District,” said Taylor said. “She will be assigned to the Dayton District Attorney’s Office and will primarily be handling criminal prosecutions in the courts of Bledsoe and Rhea Counties.”
