Oreto’s cabin wins 40th Christmas Decorating Contest

Pikeville residents are celebrating the end of 2020 and the holiday season with Christmas joy spread throughout town. The owners of 11 different homes across the city entered their Christmas ensembles in The Bledsonian-Banner’s 40th annual Christmas Decorating Contest, making this year’s judging particularly difficult.

Judges looked for coverage, attention to detail, overall presentation, and originality while judging this year’s homes.

The winner of this year’s contest is Deanna Oreto at 96 Oreto Alley, with a very unique Christmas Cabin set up beside her home.
