Players, coach receive honors for historic season

After a historic season, Bledsoe County Warriors Football had several players recognized with honors in Region 3-AA.

Coach DeWayne Tabor received the Coach of the Year award for the historic season he led. In just his second year at Bledsoe, Tabor led the team to its first ever perfect record season in the school’s history. The overall record of his team this year was 11-1 with the Region 3 Class 2AA title.

Tabor also led the Warriors to a 35-0 defeat over rival Sequatchie County, bringing home the Chief Roaring Eagle.
