December special called commission meeting canceled due to COVID-19 rise
Due to the increase in Bledsoe County’s COVID-19 cases, the December special called meeting of the Bledsoe County Commission has been cancelled, per County Mayor Gregg Ridley.
On the agenda for the meeting was appointing a Trustee to fill the unexpired term until the August 2022 election, after the winner of the recent election notified county leaders that he decided not to accept the position. Tracey Cagle was appointed by the commission to serve as Trustee this fall, and she will continue to serve in the role until filled by the commission in January.
All agenda items will be acted on at the January meeting, Ridley added.
