Herbert Casto Dodson

Herbert Casto Dodson, 74, of Spencer, Tennessee, died Wednesday, November 18, 2020.

He was born on February 10, 1946 to Arlis and Dollie (Cagle) Dodson.

He attended Brockdell Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Laura Jean Neely, Flora Watson, and Tobytha Thompson; brothers, Charles Dodson, Floyd Dodson, James Dodson, Clyde Dodson, and Loyde Dodson.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Virginia Faye Tallent Dodson of Spencer; Son, Terry (Donna) Dodson of Spencer; daughters, Rebecca (Richard) Standefer of Crossville, and Jeanette (David) Rogers of Pikeville; sisters Arlene Mooneyham and Winnie Jane Roberts, both of Spencer; brothers, Billie Joe (Laura Faye) Dodson and Cecil Van Dodson, both of Spencer; grandchildren, Desiree (Danielle) Dodson of Canada, Christa (Matthew) McCulley, Emily Standefer, Leann Standefer, and Jacob Standefer all of Crossville; great-grandchildren, Bella Dodson, Jennifer Hunt, both of Canada, Isiah McCulley, Aaron McCulley, and Caleb McCulley, all of Crossville; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held on Saturday, November 21, at 1:00 p.m. at Mooneyham Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. David Rogers officiating. Burial was in Myers Cemetery.
