Aviagen feed mill on schedule
Aviagen’s $35.3 million expansion and new state-of-the-art feed mill off the U.S. 127 bypass is progressing at a steady pace and on schedule, according to Aviagen Marketing Communications Specialist Wendy Parker.
The company broke ground in early August, and a flurry of activity has taken place on the site since, Parker said.
“If they are able to stay on schedule, the opening of the feed mill is expected to be January 2022 and some job postings will begin around July 2021,” Parker said in an email. “Job postings will be available on our website, Aviagen.com.”
The new facility will supply the company’s growing number of internal flocks with high-quality, pathogen-free feed, according to Aviagen.
