Sandra A. Shoemate

Sandra A. Shoemate, 67, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Monday, July 13, 2020.

She was of the Baptist faith. She enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking and caring for her pets, Zoe and Felix.  Her hobbies were scrapbooking, sewing, painting ceramics and other crafts.

She was born January 30, 1953 to Mike and Bessie Foley of Cresco, Iowa.

She attended Bryan College from 1970-1974 where she met and married Ronald Shoemate. They were married from December 28, 1973 until he passed on February 16, 2018.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike and Bessie Foley; and her husband, Ronald Shoemate.

She is survived by her brother, Lee (Donna) Foley of Riceville, Iowa; sister, Fran (Dean) Miller of Cresco, Iowa; nephew, Jason (Ann) Miller of Cresco, Iowa; step-children, Donna (Everett) Wyatt, Phyllis (Dwayne) Anderson and Ronnie (Linda) Shoemate; grandchildren, Kristi Anderson, Marsha Worthington, Kelli Haston, Matthew Holloway and Ashley McSpadden;

great-grandchildren, Dylan, Trinity, Tyler, Dewley, Dallas, Daelyn, Hank and Hadlee; great-great grandchildren, Eli, Bayley and Tinley.

Funeral services are Wednesday, July 22, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be in Humble Cemetery. Visitation was Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. until time of service.
