Virgil Garner Ferguson

Virgil Garner Ferguson, 83 of Tansi, Tennessee died Friday, July 10, 2020.

Virgil was of the Baptist Faith. He enjoyed playing golf and traveling, especially going on cruises. Virgil served in United States Marine Corp and later in his lifetime was a photographer for Fuji and Nord during his lifetime.

Preceding Virgil in death were his, parents, John E. and Stella Myers Ferguson; brothers, Joe, John, Mitchell, Marshall, Edward, Russell, and Bechell Ferguson; sisters, Luella Hixson, Viola Frazier, Berta Ewing, Cora Collins, and Frances Ferguson.

Virgil will be dearly missed by his wife of sixty years, Della Grace DeBord Ferguson; lots of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

A celebration of life was held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 14 in the funeral home chapel with Minister Donald Ferguson officiating.  Burial was in Pikeville Cemetery with military honors.
