Water project funded, plus fire and rescue to get financial boost
The Bledsoe County Commission moved forward with two proposals to spend $1,035,446 in local support grant funds announced recently by Governor Bill Lee. Approval was given to apply $215,000 to finish a water project to the Hendon community, and to distribute the remaining funds to all local fire departments and the rescue squad for upgrades and equipment.
