Bertie A. Walker

Bertie A. Walker, 94, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Thursday, March 26, 2020.  He was a member of Mooneyham Church of God.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Delte Walker; parents, William “Bill” Walker and Athel Houston Walker; children, Rosie Walker and Frances Earline Blaylock; daughter-in-law, Peggy Walker; grandchildren, Scotty Blaylock, Gary Walker, Erica Walker, Anthony Dunn, Tony Evans, Jeremy Walker, Joseph Walker, and Rebecka Hall; great-grandchildren, Dewayne and Angel; sisters, Lucille Burgess, Lizzie Smith and Opal Douglas; and brothers, Guy Walker and Dee Walker.

He is survived by his children, Marlin (Kim) Walker of Pikeville, Franel Hale of Kansas City, KS, Betty (Clarence) Dunn of Cleveland, James Walker of Spencer, Rickey (Barbara) Walker of Kansas City, KS, Bernice Cottles of Spencer, Glen Walker of Spencer, Michael (April) Walker of Cleveland and Gail Shearlin of Spencer; grandchildren, Christiana Cottles, Isabella Cottles, Melissa Harvey, Paige Simmons, Courtney Walker, Brandon Walker, Casey Walker, Debbie Bedwell, Camden Walker, Gene Dunn, Chris Dunn, Tommy Evans, Jerry Hale, Jamie Hale, Jaslynn Dillon, Skyla Evans, Jordyn Dillon, Landin Evans, Amanda Walker, Ashley Walker, Brittany Woodman, Madisyn Walker, Blake Walker, Ella Walker, Amber Walker, Shane Walker, and Tanner Gwinn; great-grandchildren, Gracie, Andrew, Dillon, Alissa, Sydney, Mariah, Summer, Trey, Nick, Lexie, Kristen, Amanda, Ashley, Jessie, Rebecka, Jason, Noah, Braxon, Ethan, Cameron, Bradley, Hanna, Jery, Amber, Polly, Graylen, Chevy, Riley, Chase, Keely and Garrett; great-great grandchildren, Kaylee, Alia, Sophie, Braylin, Haley, Skylar, Zayden, Easton and Alexi; and sisters, Pearl Anderson and Idell Ard.

There will be a private service due to government restrictions. We will be livestreaming the service Monday, April 30, at noon on our Facebook page: Reed Family Funeral Homes. Burial will be in Blaylock Cemetery.
