Courthouse limiting business to two four-hour days
Public notice from Bledsoe County Mayor Gregg Ridley:
Today, Governor Bill Lee announced Executive Order 23, which reads; all Tennessee Citizens are to shelter at home, unless their activity away from home is of an essential nature.
Therefore, as your Elected Officials of Bledsoe County, we believe we should do everything in our power to serve your needs, while limiting your possible exposure to the Covid-19 virus.
Beginning immediately, the Bledsoe County Courthouse will limit the hours that we are open to the public to two days a week on Tuesday and Friday, from 8:00 am until 12:00 noon.
Ridley started he will post all courthouse officials contact and website information via the Bledsoe County Facebook page. Phone numbers and email addresses for all local office-holders are available at ctas.tennessee.edu/county/bledsoe.
This post will be updated with further info from Mayor Ridley as needed.
“Thank you for allowing us to serve you and please understand, these are trying times for everyone,” Ridley stated. “God bless and continue to stay home unless for an essential activity.”
