UPDATE: The 2019 Pikeville Christmas Parade is still on, according to organizer Jane Wooden. Wooden said the only reason the parade would be cancelled would be in the event of lightning. The parade starts at 5:00 p.m. on Main Street.
This week, Bledsonians will look back on what they are thankful for this year and with the coming and going of Thanksgiving, the Christmas season will kick into high-gear as several upcoming activities will welcome the holiday season.
Christmas celebrations begin with the 22nd annual Christmas Parade and a evening Christmas Farmers Market on Saturday, November 30. A Christmas photo-opportunity has been set-up at the Main Street Stage by the Pikeville-Bledsoe County Chamber of Commerce, Main Street Committee and Fall Festival Committee, will last through the season. Here’s how you can celebrate after the turkey leftovers are in the fridge:
