Catherine Elaine Ross Cordell

Catherine Elaine Ross Cordell, 71, of Dayton, Tennessee formerly of Pikeville died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at her home with family by her side.

Cathy was a member of Pikeville Church of God of Prophecy where she enjoyed singing solo or with others. She loved her grandkids, watching football and boxing.

Preceding Cathy in death were her parents, Howard and Mary Nance Ross; sister, Gail Holland, brothers, Teddy, Gary, Houston, and Infant Ross; niece, Shea Swafford; nephew, Scotty Ross.

Cathy will be dearly missed by her son, Gary Ross (Sonja) Cordell, Dayton; daughter, Misty Sky Angel, Dayton; grandchildren, Shaine, Hayley, and Alex Angel, Mikey Neely, Ben Angel; great-grandchild, Dallis Tillitson; sister, Sonja Ross, Georgia; several nieces, nephews, cousins; and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will be 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, November 7, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Roy Vogan officiating. Burial will be in Pikeville Cemetery. The family will receive friends 4:00-8:00 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, November 5-6.
