Dale Leroy Barnaby

Dale Leroy Barnaby, 73, of Pikeville, died Saturday, July 6, 2019.

He was a Howard High School 1965 graduate in Howard Kansas. Some of his favorite pastimes were riding his Harley, working in his flower gardens, and listening to old country. Dale was an Army veteran and afterwards worked as a fork lift driver at Iowa Beef.

Preceeding him in death were his parents, James Edward and Doris Elva McDonald Barnaby; brothers, Steven Edward and Max Leon Barnaby.

Survivors include his daughter Michelle Dawn Barnaby; Rick Whitmore, whom he thought of as a son; brothers, Roland (Lorna) Barnaby, Les Barnaby; sisters, Wanetta (Dan) Arnold, Geneva Barnaby; grandchildren, Jesse, Savannah, Amanda Mobley, Luke Heiliger; special niece, Tracey (Larry) Cousar; special nephew,  Randall (Beverly) Benson; significant other, Diana Melander ; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews cousins, and a host of friends.

A memorial service will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 20, in the funeral home chapel.

    I have had Blessing of this man and his love in my life for 18 yrs. He has loved me with flowers everyday. His sweet songs his laugh and his sparkling eyes will be with me always.We danced together just 2 weeks ago. I do love this man and I will him .My heart is heavy where it should be light. Our Lord will lead the way. Love Always Diana Lee.
