Robert Edward Jackett

Robert “Eddy” Jackett Sr., 77, born April 26, 1942 to Robert W. Jackett and Lillian Inez Burnett Jackett at Baptist Hospital, Memphis, Tennessee died May 16, 2019 at his home on Dayton Mountain.

Eddy was past Master of Masonic Lodge 512 of Dayton, and a member of Alhambra Shrine of Chattanooga, serving in the Provost Unit. He was a Tool and Die maker with La-Z-Boy in Dayton for over 30 years. He was a fisherman and a farmer.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother and one son Robert “Bobby” Jacket Jr.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia “Pat” Rigsby Jackett; daughter Tarayca “Teri” Jackett; son, Patrick (Daryla) Jackett; grandchildren, Katie (Jesse) Headlee, Michelle, Courtney, Whitney, Michael and Matthew Jackett and great grandchildren, Eli, Jack and Jessica Headlee .

A  Masonic graveside service was held Sunday, May 19, at 2:00 p.m. at Spence Cemetery.
