John Robert Trussell

John Robert Trussell, 82, of Pikeville, Tennessee died Monday, April 15, 2019.

He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed fishing and rabbit hunting in his spare time

Preceding him in death were his parents, Newton and Edna Grace Douglas Trussell; sons, Bobby and Gerald Trussell; daughter, Cheryl Trussell; brothers, Bill, Buck and Tommy Trussell; and sister, Sally Trussell.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Clemma Givens Trussell; son, Troy (Christy) Trussell; daughters, Shelia Trussell, Cindy (Tad) Patton, Sherry (Patrick) Hunter; brother, Jerry Trussell; sister, Mary Scott; grandchildren, Derrick (Amy) Campbell; Heather Patton, Miranda (Aaron) Worthington, Chelsey Trussell and Roman Trussell; great-grandchildren, Ashley (Derek) Phipps, Madison Watson, Amelia Campbell, Logan Patton, Gunnyr Worthington, and arriving soon, Rhett Case Worthington; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

A celebration of life will  be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 18, in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Danny Lee officiating. Burial will be in Collier Cemetery. The family received friends from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and 8:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday.
