Nale arrested, charged with bribery

Sonya Hankins Nale, 48, of Pikeville, was arrested yesterday after The Bledsoe County Grand Jury returned two indictments of Bribery of a Public Servant against her on Monday, March 25.

Nale is accused of “[offering] to pay an arresting deputy to drop charges against another individual, and later offered money to a judge in exchange for dropping those same charges,” according to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.
