Ernie Ford

Ernie Ford, 83, of Pikeville, Tennessee, died Saturday, March 9, 2019 at his home.

He was a member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. He was the night watchman at the Bledsoe Highway Department.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Thelma Vickie Ford; stepson, Freddie Dewayne Sullivan; parents, Robert and Nettie Ford; sisters, Edna Rucker, Jean DeRosa and Eileen Yingst; and brothers, Everett Ford, Harlan Ford and Elvin Ford.

He is survived by stepchildren, Tammy (Rick Sandars) Sullivan of Dunlap, Tracey (Bruce) Pendergrass of Pikeville and Ron (Christy) Sullivan of Pikeville; grandchildren, David Yeargan, Garth Pendergrass, Zach Pendergrass, Blake Pendergrass, Jessica (Josh) Dennis, Tamara (BJ) Hadden, Kayla (Elimon) Espinoza, Tiffany (Adraon) Hernandez, Bradley

Sullivan, Deallan (Brittany) Sullivan, Mikie (Briana) Sullivan and Tabitha (Isaac) Periwinkle; 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Welch and Ruby Sullivan; brother, Aaron Ford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, March 13, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Jim Whitaker officiating. Burial was in Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
