All polls open after possible tornado

All Bledsoe County polls are open for the November 6 Election, with generators being used at Lusk and Brayton voting precincts due to power outages from a possible tornado touchdown early this morning in the south end of Bledsoe County, according to Election Administrator Lisa Wheeler.

Wheeler said the generators are keeping the polls open, along with battery backups on the voting machines. Wheeler said the power at Lusk should be back around 10:00 a.m., with the time unknown for power restoration at Brayton. No changes to voting are occurring at this time.

Polls close at 7:00 p.m., Wheeler added.
